| July 22, 2010

Australia and Pakistan are in the midst of a test series hosted by England. Having won the first match at Lords, Australia were bundled out for 88 on the opening day of the 2nd test at Leeds. Pakistan in reply had scored 148/3 by close of play, a lead of 60.

Interestingly, head to head, Australia have won exactly half of the 56 test matches played against Pakistan, prior to the Leeds test. Pakistan have won 11, with the remaining ending without result.

On home venues, Australia lead Pakistan, head to head, 21 to 4, in 32 matches.

In Pakistan, the sides have met 20 times, with Pakistan logging 7 wins to Australia’s 3. Australia, however, have won all 4 previous matches played at neutral venues between the two teams.
