After winning the toss, India opted to bat first; for the second time in the series, the Indian batting line-up collapsed, managing to put up a total of only 103 runs, their 4th lowest ever, batting first.
In India’s first match of the Series, playing against New Zealand, India only scored 88 runs and lost by a margin of 200 runs.
At Dambulla, the way things are not going is definitely not to Captain Dhoni’s liking. This match has also been heavily criticised for its poor umpiring.
Sehwag was given out LBW, when the replays clearly showed that, he was not out. If he had stayed, may be, he could have crafted a different story for India.
For the benefit of all Cricket fans, we have put up the video highlights of today’s match. Indian fans would not be too keen to watch the pathetic batting performance, but they would definitely want to take a look at the contentious umpiring decisions, which would make up, somewhat, for any disappointment!
