Premier League Golden Boot Leaders As On December 29
Manchester United’s Dimitar Berbatov has widened his lead in the list of goal-scorers after his goal against Birmingham in match week 20. Manchester City’s Carlos Tevez, who was one adrift of the Bulgarian, on December 27, did not feature in his side’s game against Aston Villa, a game that City won 4-0, on the back of a hattrick by Balotelli.
Newcastle’s Andy Carroll, who was also within striking distance of the leader, did not score either, as his side slumped to a 2-0 loss against Spurs. Other regular scorers, such as Tim Cahill, Didier Drogba, Kevin Nolan, Rafael Van der Vaart, Darren Bent, Marouane Chamakh, Salomon Kalou, Samir Nasri and Peter Odemwingie were all conspicuous by their absence on the list of scorers since December 27.
Some players like Chelsea’s Florent Malouda and Tottenham’s Gareth Bale climbed up the list with lone strikes, while players like Blackpool’s Dudley Campbell, Blackburn’s Nikola Kalinic, and Fulham’s Chris Baird got a brace of goals each, but failed to feature on the list of scorers with six or more goals, in the Premiership.
Take a list of scorers with six or more goals as on December 29. This list is due to change when the next set of matches take place, on New Year’s Day, January 1:

12 goals: Carlos Tevez
11 goals: Andy Carroll
9 goals: Tim Cahill
8 goals: Didier Drogba, Florent Malouda, Kevin Nolan, Rafael Van der Vaart
