Founded in May 2010, in its former avatar of cricinfosite.com, SportingAttitude has gone from strength to strength in the short span it has been around. We changed our name after we realised that we didn’t want to limit ourselves to just Cricket; in fact, our earliest stories were mainly about football and revolved around the world cup in June-July 2010.
Attracting more than 350,000 unique visitors, SportingAttitude has lived upto to its avowed objective of providing an entertaining experience to sports fans, from over 200 countries, who frequent the site, with a diverse range of sports coverage, beginning with cricket, football and tennis, and extending to athletics, badminton, basketball, beach volleyball, boxing, darts, formula one, hockey, horse racing, moto gp. rugby, snooker, etc.
To complement SportingAttitude’s football coverage, the web site assists visitors in accessing live football web telecasts and commentary.We have also facilitated live telecasts of hockey, tennis, basketball, baseball, cycling, golf, moto gp, and other sports, including darts, rugby and snooker. Our future plans include an online store featuring the widest selection of high quality sports goods and paraphernalia including equipment and sports wear.
SportingAttitude is the brainchild of UK based internet entrepreneur Amit Shanker, better known to readers as Contactamipro. Born in Mumbai, India, Amit is a software professional, who has been a sports fan all his life, and a table tennis champion during his teenage years. Amit Shanker is assisted by Suresh Mahadevan Iyer, better known to readers as Jinxatious, a sports junkie with a passion for writing.
Initially, SportingAttitude was hosted on a leased server but with the influx of visitors, we felt the need for a super fast server and have since shifted to our own server hosted in our own cloud, situated in the United States of America.
